Photo 1
In the first photo, I took this photo with my point and shoot camera for out assignment Line and Shape. I took this photo with my point and shoot camera on a cloudy day so there's some exposure but not much as to where you have drastic shadows. I remember lowering myself so I could go and get all of the sheds side and still get a bit of the fence. I wanted to go take the photo straight on. This photo has a large depth of field because all of the photo is focused. This photo has a gloomy/depressing kind of mood it it because it's not a bright photo and it gives of a negative vibe. |

In the second photo, I took this photo outside for our assignment Line and Shape. In this photo, it had recently rained and it was a a cloudy day. This photo was taken with a fast shutter speed and since all of the photo is in focus, it has a large depth of field. When taking this photo, I brought up the camera so it was somewhat above the fence and ground and then I turned the camera so I can get the part of the sidewalk into a diagonal and the reflection of the fence was going on the opposite direction. When taking this photo I used the rule of thirds, I using the sidewalk as one, the reflection of the fence for another and the rest of the ground as another. Since the photo is in black and white, it makes the photo have a negative mood to it, but it still makes the photo like able. |
Photo 3
In the third photo, this was taken in the Performing Arts Center for the assignment Painting with Light. This photo was taken in the dark, so it has a ISO of about 800. This photo was taken with a slow shutter speed, so that the lights can be captured in the photo. I took this photo straight on and the camera was zoomed in a bit to capture the photo the way it is. When you look at the photo, the circle lights are in focus and the background is blurred, giving the photo a shallow depth of field. When taking the photo, I decided to have an addition light shine on Alyssa and create a shadow, giving the photo different components |
